Laying Carpet Over Tile Floor

If you use the right materials and follow the right steps you can install carpet tile in virtually any space in your house.

Clean the floor to remove any grease or dirt. Applying grout to tile floor. This means that the carpet can end up feeling harder and colder as a result. The friction underneath made it difficult to close.

Measure the space between the wall and the last carpet tile you laid. Lay a strip of seaming tape beneath each seam so. You can install carpet tiles over linoleum hardwood or concrete floors. Put a thin layer of half inch plywood on top of it or quarter inch ply as long as you can get a flat surface then you can go ahead and put new carpet over that or whatever you want to do.
